Purchased by a small, family-owned utility contractor, Miller & Sons Infrastructure. The machine saw its most action during a 2014 project to install a 50 mile fiber line connecting two small towns. By 2017 the company shifted focus to smaller residential jobs, and the RT115 was used more sparingly, tackling occasional water line installations and short run cable projects. In 2020, the RT115 was semi-retired when Miller & Sons upgraded to a newer model, but it remained a reliable backup for overflow work. Its final notable job was in 2023, assisting with a rural broadband expansion funded by a state grant. The machine’s tracks gripped the soft sandy ground, and its engine didn’t falter, even as newer machines struggled with the terrain. Owner has recently retired and is motivated.
